Created on February 9, 1976, Cimarron Municipal Utility District has been providing water and waste-water services for over 40 years. We are currently transitioning from reliance on ground water aquifiers over to suface water. In an effort to reduce subsidence this conversion to surface water has been mandated by the West Harris County Regional Water Authority, founded in 2001.
