Holiday exceptions: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Household Trash: Waste should be placed in cans between 30 and 50 gallons or in sturdy bags not to exceed 50 pounds. Waste should be placed curbside. Trash will not be collected from previous providers trash can(s).
Yard Waste: Yard waste should be bagged or placed in cans not exceeding 50 pounds. Branches may be placed curbside tied and bundled no longer than 4' in length or heavier than 40 pounds with no branch diameter exceeding 3 inches.
Heavy Trash & Bulk Waste: Heavy (Bulky) Trash is offered each service day. Please note that there are guidelines to be followed.
Excluded Items: Dirt, rocks, brick, concrete, liquid paints, fuels, oils, tires, pesticides, fertilizer, and batteries.
Recycling Container: Place all your recyclables in the red bin provided by Best Trash. Please place the additional recycling in a bag, box or container not smaller than 30 gallons and not larger than 50 gallons clearly labeled “RECYCLE” next to your regular recycling container. One replacement recycling bin may be purchased from Best Trash for $20.00.
Please note that recyclables in plastic bags are not opened and go to the landfill. Plastic bags are not a recyclable item.

Great News! The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has updated the Vacation Watch Request Form, allowing citizens to complete the necessary information, at their convenience, and just hit the submit button at the bottom of the page. The form will automatically route to the appropriate District and be provided to officers that patrol that area / contract.
All you need to do is visit harriscountyso.org, go to “Services†then “Public Programs†and tap on “Vacation Watch.†While on vacation, should any deputies discover something suspicious, Harris County Sheriff's Office will contact you with the numbers provided.
The construction has begun! The Cimarron MUD Board of Directors has worked together with both Harris County and Van de Wiele & Vogler Engineering Inc to commence the Peek Rd sidewalk expansion project. This will complete the portions along Peek between Kingsland and Cimarron Elementary to allow pedestrians and students full undisrupted connectivity to the school from both directions via foot.
Sidewalk additions begin July 20th. Completion is estimated to be within 3 weeks.
